We are currently searching for Oracle Database Consultant on permanent basis for one of our clients in technology consulting, working in a hybrid set-up. Locations can be Basel, Bern, Zürich.
As a part of the team, you will be the go-to-consultant for clients across different industries to advise and support them on their Oracle Database projects.

We are currently searching for Oracle Database Consultant on permanent basis for one of our clients in technology consulting, working in a hybrid set-up. Locations can be Basel, Bern, Zürich.
As a part of the team, you will be the go-to-consultant for clients across different industries to advise and support them on their Oracle Database projects.
Your main tasks will be:
- Deploy and install new Oracle database infrastructure
- Install, maintain, administer, and patch Oracle appliance bare-metal systems with virtualization technology
- Migrate databases between on-premises and cloud environments
- Patch and update databases, using Ansible for large-scale patching
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues through analysis and optimization
- Administer and troubleshoot Oracle databases, including user support
- Conduct licensing audits
- Develop shell scripts, SQL, and PL/SQL scripts
To enjoy this job, you should have/be:
- Strong Oracle Database experience as a DBA or Consultant.
- Experience with Oracle Tuning and RMAN.
- Experience with deployment and configuration of High availability databases.
- Fluent German (C1) is a must and proficient in English.
