Job Description
Ensure uninterrupted operation of telecommunications and telemetry infrastructure on a national scale.
Receive, analyze, and resolve incidents.
Manage service requests, including ticket management until closure.
Support field technicians for access, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Continuously develop operational processes (ITIL) and documentation.
Participate in projects as a representative of operations (NOC).
Communicate and escalate appropriately at different levels in case of incidents and issues.
Participate in on-call duties 24/7.
Requirements
Technical training in the field of electricity, telecommunications, or information technology, or equivalent.
Ongoing training as a senior technician or a degree from a higher education institution in one of these fields is preferred.
Experience in operating complex communication infrastructures.
Excellent mastery of at least one of the technologies used (telephone installations, VoIP, WDM, IP, MPLS).
Experience in operating communication infrastructures or secondary techniques in substations is desired.
Good analytical skills and continuous intervention capabilities.
Basic knowledge of ITIL certification (certification is advantageous).
Excellent knowledge of German and English; French or Italian would be a plus.
