To drive our continuous organic growth, we are constantly looking for highly qualified professionals. To strengthen our Global IT department, we are looking for a dedicated Network Engineer (f/m/d), 100%.

Your tasks:

• Designing and implementing new network solutions and improving the efficiency of current networks
• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g. routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Monitor system resource utilization, trending, lifecycle and capacity planning
• Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company's security team
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
• Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network

Your profile:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required with relevant certifications
• 3-5 years' experience in network administration, network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools
• Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices
• Advanced understanding of networking protocols and infrastructure designs; including routing, firewall functionality, host and network intrusion detection systems, encryption, load balancing, and other network protocols
• Understanding of network configurations (vlan, trunk, NAC, Radius, QoS)
• Knowledge in security measures and policies (Firewall, IDS, IPS, SASE)
• Datacenter layout knowledge in cabling, racking of hardware, power- and capacity planning
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
