ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a talented and experienced Murex DevOps Engineer to join our team in Zurich.
As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our software development and deployment processes. You will work closely with our development, operations and quality assurance teams to streamline workflows, automate tasks and enhance overall efficiency. The role requires a mix of remote and on-site work in a hybrid model.
Responsibilities
- Contribute in an Agile way to the full lifecycle of the application, from analysis to implementation
- Cover the whole scope of our client’s needs on Murex together with your team. From onboarding projects that decommission legacy systems and move business onto the strategic Murex platform, to strategic development projects that deliver new financial products
- Configure (complex) new functionality and coordinate its implementation in the Murex production environment
- Develop tooling that is used by the Murex system
- Deliver a stable and fit-for-purpose Murex service, including both the functional and technical support as managing the security of the Murex application
Requirements
- Murex Product knowledge and relevant work experience on the product
- Good to have experience and substantial knowledge in Banking domain, especially on Forex Products
- Good to have exposure on AI Technology
- Experience working in an Agile work and with multiple scrum teams across the globe
- Experience working with the following technology stack:
- Azure Functions, AKS, Webapps, Databricks, Azure Devops
- Linux, Windows
- Oracle, PostGres, IBM DB2, Azure SQL
- Java, Python, Perl, Javascript, PL/SQL, Shell Scripts, Unix, Bash
- MQ, Websphere, TIBCO, Apache, Tomcat, Tuxedo
- Version control system/Build tool: Git/Github/Gitlab, Maven, Gradle
- Curious to learn about system and business
- Able to troubleshoot issues by using both technical and business knowledge, not by following a simple checklist
- Should have exposure to requirement management tools such as JIRA, Confluence and other project management tools
- Should have good communication and presentation skills
- Fluent English skill is a must, German language skill is a significant advantage
