About the position:- Monitoring all accounting activities, including budget oversight, preparation of quarterly statements, and annual reports
- Preparation of the annual tax return and accompanying documents
- Advising the management as well as the board on financial, legal, and HR matters
- Reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreements, as well as drafting employment contracts
- Managing financial and legal risks and working to mitigate them
- Ensuring the company's compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Acting as Company Secretary, including organizing shareholders' general meetings, maintaining the commercial register, shareholders' register, and shareholders' documents
- Collaborating with external professionals in accounting, legal, and corporate governance matters, such as lawyers and auditors
- Ensuring proper onboarding and offboarding of employees, including expats
Your profil:
- Master's degree in finance, economics, law or business administration from a Swiss or European university
- General knowledge of accounting as well as Swiss and/or EU corporate and employment law
- About 10 years of professional experience in finance and accounting as well as a good general understanding of legal and HR matters
- Experience with financial reporting software
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good knowledge of German and English
- Willingness to travel
