Legal Assistant (m/w/d) - temporary assignment for 2 years, 80-100%
Accountabilities
- Liaise with the outsourced Patent and Trademark recordal provider and providing the required documentation to enable Entity merger and address change (e.g. copies of certificates, evidence of use, powers of attorney, commercial register extracts etc....) under supervision
- Preparing Trademark/Patent Assignments and Changes of Name and Address
- Archiving of paper and electronic files and in particular, Patent and Trademark Assignments and Changes of name/adress
- Organising signatures and notarization / legalization of Patent and Trademark related documents
- Organizing TNT shipping
- General administrative and secretarial work in support of the team
- Ensure Trademark and Patent Assignment, change of name or address correspondence is prepared to the required quality and submitted within the required time limits
- Provide effective management of diary systems to monitor and meet deadlines for Trademark and Patents Assignment, change of name or address
- Provide accurate entry of key data and information related to Trademarks and Patents into IP Management System
Your skills & experiences
- Good general school education to commercial diploma or matura level
- Prior legal knowledge, preferably IP knowledge preferred (e.g. experience in a legal department, law firm or notary office)
- Very good written and verbal communications skills in English. German basic knowledge nice to have
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office packages especially Excel
- Attention to detail/thoroughness/ meticulousness is a must
