Legal Analyst (temporary)
Job Profile
- Support the Head of Legal in all legal and regulatory matters across relevant business areas (including collective investment schemes, mandate solutions, and structured products) in both national and international contexts
- Assist in the development and life cycle management of investment solutions from a legal and regulatory perspective
- Collaborate in drafting contracts (such as fund contracts, investment management agreements, distribution agreements, private placement memoranda, etc.)
- Prepare and support approval processes (for financial products and institutions) with regulatory authorities both domestically and abroad
- Monitor and fulfil regulatory reporting and updating obligations towards regulatory authorities and external partners
- Track the regulatory environment concerning Swiss and European legislation (including KAG, FIDLEG, FINIG, UCITS, AIFMD, etc.)
- Contribute to counterparty assessment and monitoring, as well as onboarding asset managers and distribution partners
- Support in audit reviews
- Manage contracts within internal and external systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law
- 3-4 years of relevant work experience in the financial services sector
- Professional experience in fund/asset management preferred
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, as well as problem-solving abilities
- Independent, precise, and responsible work style
- High level of motivation, willingness to learn, and resilience
- Flexible, communicative, and trustworthy personality who enjoys interacting with a team and a wide range of clients, regulators, service providers, and internal partners
- Very good MS Office skills
- Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken
