Calibration expert (m/f/d) - GMP / QMS System / SAP / CCMS / BMRAM / German and English

Project: For our client, a large pharmaceutical company based in Basel, we are looking for a calibration expert (m/f/d).

Background: The position is in Maintenance Operations with a focus on calibration. In this department, the existing systems are calibrated.

The perfect candidate: We are looking for an experienced calibration expert who has experience in calibration in an industrial environment with common GMP work (pressure, temperature, flow, etc.). The German language skills must be very good, as the work is carried out on the line. The ability to read English must be possible, as some documentation is in English.

Tasks & responsibilities:
• Independent process stabilization, process improvement (KVP) and, if required, documentation of the identified changes (changes, SOPs, QRM)
• Active participation in the LPS
• Participation as an SME in projects, interface e.g. to value streams, quality, development
• Implementation or support in tests/implementation of systems in the area of responsibility
• Implementation or technical support of problem solving in the area of responsibility
• Representation of the area as an SME in inspections and audits - compliance with or practical implementation of the currently valid GMP rules
• Creation and revision of standard operating procedures
• Support in employee discussions and conducting training courses
• Regular participation in relevant planning and control meetings in order to represent the unit accordingly
• Management of calibrations
• Monitoring, documentation and timely implementation of calibrations
• Conducting training courses in the specialist department (e.g. calibration, Computer Calibration Management System CCMS)
• Ensure material management for calibration

Must Haves:
• Completed technician diploma or technical calibration service experience (other customers and systems) service of systems
• Min 5 years of calibration experience (pressure, temperature, flow, etc.), preferably in a GMP environment or calibration service experience of systems
• SAP experience is a MUST
• Experience with CCMS (Computerized Calibration Management System), ideally with BMRAM (Blue Mountain)
• Experience with QMS system and change request creation and deviation processing
• Fluent German is a MUST and existing English skills (reading comprehension)
• Reliability and continuous improvements to the current standard
• Willingness to continuously develop and react and adapt one's own actions
• Self-organized and self-motivated work
• Willingness to learn and apply new processes and technologies
• Team player and ability to approach internal and external stakeholders
• Communication skills
