Mercer Switzerland is seeking German speaking candidates for the following position based in our Zurich office:

Insurance Broker Client Manager (m/f/d)

This interesting position is part of our Employee Health & Benefits team, where we advise our clients on the placement, design and modification of insurance-based solutions. We support large multinational corporations with our services and expert advice to develop innovative solutions. We will count on you to:

• Be responsible for your own client portfolio
• Plan and implement renewals (pension insurance, daily indemnity, mandatory and supplemental accident, medical insurance)
• Participate at Remarketing Projects
• Handle Day-to-day requests
• Manage accident and sickness claims (notification to insurer, follow-up with insured, check of benefit statement)
• Have regular contact with HR departments, insurers and employees
• Answer queries of client employees and handle complex client requests in English and German (and French if possible)
• Prepare offers, presentations and benchmark analysis for clients

What you need to have:

• Commercial education
• Insurance agent (Versicherungsvermittler/-in VBV) is an advantage
• Higher Swiss insurance education (i.e. Eidg. Versicherungsfachausweis)
• Very good knowledge of pension insurance (BVG/LPP) as well as group personal risk insurance (accident & daily indemnity insurance)
• Knowledge in medical insurance would be an asset
• Fluency in English and German, French is an advantage
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
