We are looking for an Innovation Specialist to support our key projects designing innovation tools, training and experiences.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management & Strategy
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments.
- Ensure the IT infrastructure aligns with the company's strategic objectives and long-term IT roadmap.
- Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, replacements, and migrations to maintain system reliability and performance.
- Leading Helpdesk Team
- Lead and manage the helpdesk team, ensuring effective support and resolution of IT issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Project Leadership
- Lead infrastructure projects involving internal teams and external partners, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines.
- System & Network Administration
- Manage the company’s networking infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Oversee the administration of servers, storage, and virtualization platforms.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, particularly in highly regulated environments like pharmaceuticals.
- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
- Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure the resilience of IT infrastructure.
- Implement backup and recovery solutions to protect critical data and systems.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, including contract negotiations and performance management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at local, regional, and global levels to ensure alignment with business needs and IT strategies.
- Operational Support
- Provide hands-on support for complex IT infrastructure issues, ensuring quick resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
- Oversee the monitoring of IT infrastructure to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure by coordinating with the Service Desk and next-level support teams.
- Security & Compliance
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect the company's IT assets.
- Ensure compliance with global IT standards and local regulatory requirements, particularly in relation to data protection and system validation.
- Educational Background
- Degree in Computer Science, IT-related field, or technical discipline; Master’s degree desirable.
- Experience
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a strong background in networking, systems administration, and cloud technologies.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or other highly regulated environments is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networking, and cloud technologies.
- Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure issues.
- Leadership & Management
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop and communicate objectives, inspire and motivate teams, and maintain alignment with business strategies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively, ensuring alignment with global IT standards.
- Analytical & Strategic Skills
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, strategic planning, and execution skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels.
