Job Description

About Us: The Swiss Medical Radiotherapy Network of Swiss Medical Network (SMN) has two main clinical sites: Clinique de Genolier and Clinique Générale-Beaulieu. Our network benefits from state-of-the-art medical equipment and software, and we are planning the addition of a third site at Clinique Bethanien in Zürich.

Our facilities include four accelerators (two TomoTherapy Radixact and a CyberKnife from Accuray, a LIAC from S.I.T. for intra-operative radiotherapy), and three superficial X-ray treatment systems (Papillon and Papillon+ from Ariane Medical Systems and XStrahl). Treatment planning is performed with RayStation (RaySearch) and Precision (Accuray), while RayCare and RayTreat form our OIS system. Our centralized IT infrastructure ensures seamless connectivity and accessibility across all sites, supporting our mission to provide topnotch radiotherapy services.

Your Role: The Swiss Medical Radiotherapy Network is looking for a talented IS Specialist to maintain and develop the IS-related components of our complex, interconnected environment that plays a key role in the care of cancer patients.

Qualifications

Your Tasks: As an IS Specialist within our network, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple locations, ensuring that our IS are robust, efficient, and secure. In close collaboration with the multidisciplinary radiotherapy management team and the IS department, your responsibilities will include:

  • Services and Support - providing on-site and remote support to ensure smooth operations of the IT-related components across all facilities and systems used within the Radiotherapy service
    • Minimization of downtime
    • Following of support ticketing in collaboration with the IS department and 1st level support of the partners
  • Outsourced system maintenance - managing and maintaining information systems infrastructure to support centralized planning and operations, including:
    • Process and workflow digitalization and automation.
    • Ensure lifecycle of applications used within the radiotherapy services
    • Following of the improvement request on the software and prioritization
    • Proactive planning of updates and related internal communication
    • Conducting frequent updates and compatibility tests for various software, as part of our involvement with the advisory board of RayCare.
  • Working in collaboration with our partners:
    • Providers and suppliers of our solutions such as RaySearch, Accuray, EDL, GE Healthcare, Varian, Outsourcing companies for workplace, networking and infrastructure
    • Internal BI team in order to provide a good quality of data.
    • Maintaining a strong presence on professional social media platforms
  • Involvement in Project management - collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to integrate new technologies and improve existing systems.
    • Guarantee a standard architecture and follow the installation processes
    • Define requirement with the end-users
    • Control suppliers and deliveries

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or business computing.
  • Proven experience as an IS specialist, preferably in radiation oncology.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple sites and manage multiple tasks.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to maintaining professional social media presence.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure management and software testing, applied to outsourced infrastructure
  • Experience with interoperability, data transmission, and interfaces: DICOM, HL7, FHIR, PACS, HIS, Mirth, etc.
  • Proficiency in French and English is required; German is an advantage.
