The Head of Sustainability and Product Solutions will be responsible for driving the company’s sustainability strategy and integrating sustainable practices into our product offerings. This role will lead the development of innovative insurance products that align with our sustainability goals and meet the evolving needs of our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sustainability principles, product development, and the life insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sustainability Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement the Global Insurance sustainability strategy that aligns with the company’s mission and values
- Identify key sustainability trends and opportunities within the life insurance sector and recommend actionable initiatives
- Collaborate with the local business units to deliver customer-needs centric propositions to the markets
- Product Development:
- Lead the design and development of innovative insurance products that promote sustainability and address emerging market needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, actuarial, marketing, and compliance, to ensure product viability and alignment with regulatory standards
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, regulators, and industry groups, to promote sustainability initiatives and gather feedback on product offerings
- Represent Global Insurance / HSBC Life at internal and external sustainability forums including industry conferences, forums, and sustainability events
- People Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing team focused on sustainability and product innovation
- Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability within the team
