Head of Sales Development - Weather and Climate Data SaaS (f/m/d)

Meteomatics is growing faster than you can say lightning! ?
Therefore we're now looking for a Head of Sales Europe. You will have a central role in scaling our SaaS revenues as part of our global revenue team. You will provide sales leadership across our industry segments and work closely with other revenue teams.
Meteomatics is on a growth journey, and you will help take the company to the next level. Continuously improving our sales processes and customer journey will be key responsibilities.
To succeed in this position, you must have a strong passion for weather and sales and be result-oriented with excellent leadership skills. The customer acquisition and lifetime journey is a key focus and you are a strong network builder. Our new Head of SDR will report directly to the Head of Sales Europe.
Your responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with our revenue goals and go-to-market plan.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire the Sales Development team to achieve and exceed targets within our industry segments.
Pipeline Growth: Implement and grow an outbound sales motion to drive opportunities through to sales.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional revenue teams, including marketing, sales, and revenue operations, to ensure alignment and maximize results.
Inbound Lead Management: Work closely with the marketing team to nurture and qualify inbound leads, ensuring a seamless handoff to the sales team.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze SDR performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
Your qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales development leadership roles and 5 years overall professional experience.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a team.
- Proven experience in building strong outbound cadences, leveraging sequences and outbound techniques including personalized video, cold calling, email, and Linkedin.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales automation tools. Experience with Hubspot is a plus.
- Fluency in English and German; proficiency in other European languages is a plus, especially French.
