For the location in Penang, Malaysia we are looking for a suitable candidate.
Your challenge
You take responsibility for the Plant Engineering team. The main task of the department is to support Medical Production in all aspects of manufacturing excellence in close cooperation with the neighbouring areas: R&D, Operations, Injection Moulding, Assembly, Quality Management and Engineering. You and your team will be responsible for the process improvement and the equipment enhancement in line with growth and productivity targets in a systematic manner. The aim is to recognise and exploit opportunities for improvement and implement sustainable solutions.
Your profile
Technical training in a manufacturing industrial company and further training in one of the areas of technology, operations or processes form the basis. Experience in the mass production of high-end industrial goods and in leading a team is a must. You are also familiar with the requirements of manufacturing, assembling and packaging of sophisticated medtech devices. You are fluent in English.
