We are looking for a committed personality working in our location in Kloten with immediate effect or by agreement.
Your challenges and areas of responsibility
- Personnel and organizational responsiblefor a team of ten team members consisting of Linux and database engineers
- Technical leadership and coordination of technical projects in the Linux and database environment
- Coordination of operations including application operation (APO) in the team and with service management as well as the operations team
- Participation in budget and capacity planning as well as in ISO20K/ISO27K processes and audits
- Collaboration in the on-call service 7x24h
Your profile with focus on one or more areas
- Completed IT education (ICT) or equivalent education/experience
- Proven track record in leadership of at least 5 years
- Conceptual understanding of Linux, server infrastructure, microservices and virtualisation environment
- Conceptual understanding of database technologies in the areas of Oracle, MariaDB, PostgreSQL as well as Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with containerisation technologies in the cloud and on-premise environments is an advantage
- Good conceptual, analytical and communication skills and a goal-oriented way of working
- Agile mindset, enjoying the challenge of complex problems
- Fluent spoken and written German as well as English
- And last but not least, a good portion of humour and enthusiasm for the job
