Your impact
As our Head of HR, you’ll lead all HR functions, aligning workforce planning, talent acquisition, and development strategies with our company’s goals to build a productive, skilled, and engaged team. You’ll oversee performance management, payroll, compliance, and employee data, ensuring our HR operations are accurate, compliant, and efficient. You’ll also champion a safe, inclusive workplace culture, driving engagement, and support continuous learning and development across the organization:
- Workforce Planning – Ensure HR strategies are closely aligned with company goals, covering key areas such as talent acquisition, workforce development, succession planning, and deputy coverage to support business continuity and growth.
- Talent Acquisition and Retention – Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention programs to attract and retain top talent, ensuring the organization has the right skills for growth. Provide effective templates and training for managers to ensure a consistent, high-quality hiring and career development experience across the organization.
- Employee Engagement and Culture – Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives, employee feedback, and recognition programs to boost morale and productivity.
- Performance Management – Establish and manage performance evaluation systems that drive high performance, support career development, and align individual objectives with company goals.
- Payroll, Social Insurance, and Compliance Management – Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate employee payments, manage social insurance registrations, and handle work-related permissions and documentation. Ensure all employment and compensation practices consistently meet regulatory standards.
- Respectful and Safe Workplace – Foster a culture and implement policies and procedures that promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
- HR Technology and Data Management – Implement and oversee HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and other HR tools to streamline processes, manage employee data securely, and enable data-driven decision-making for workforce insights and strategy adjustments.
- Learning and Development – Lead professional development initiatives, from skill-building workshops to leadership training and external education programs, to build a resilient, adaptable workforce.
Your background
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration with a focus on Human Resources, or a Professional Bachelor (Fachausweis Leitende Person HR), with at least four years of professional HR experience
- Proven relationship-building skills based on trust and sound judgment, with the ability to lead and embed change effectively.
- Strong service orientation and positive, can-do attitude; committed to delivering outstanding work and continuously striving for excellence
- Skilled at planning for HR’s future while effectively managing day-to-day operations; anticipates risks and proposes practical solutions to support business strategy.
- In-depth knowledge of Swiss labor law
- Fluent in German and English.
