What you'll do
- Continuous monitoring and management of the risks resulting from the issuance and trading activity of structured products
- Acquiring fluency in product dynamics and systems as well as risk undertaking
- Delivering highly responsive quotes to Sales and Structuring on pricing requests for structured products, and ensuring market parameters are properly marked and maintained
- Systematic reviewing of bookings and book positions maintenance
- Carrying out specific important operational tasks
- Ensuring desk coverage including order taking and execution
- Supporting Senior Traders
- Development of trading infrastructure to enhance automation of risk management and overall scalability of the trading platform in cooperation with many other internal teams
- Close cooperation with the trading team members to exchange views on risk positions, processes, flow and various other ideas
- Maintaining a close working relationship with various internal departments as well as with our affiliates
What you'll need
- Quantitative Finance/Economics or Engineering Master's degree
- Strong interest in financial markets and in Leonteq's product offering
- Ability to work independently, accurately and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Solid knowledge of options theory
- Profound analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent communication skills, team player mentality, positive personality
- Strong willingness to learn, highly motivated, dedicated, precise, and methodical
- Knowledge in VBA, Python and SQL
- Willingness to work European and US Market hours as required
- Fluency in business English
Nice to have
- Relevant work experience is an advantage
- Further languages such as German, French or Italian would be an asset
