Event Planning Coordinator
We are the first Hyatt Regency & Hyatt Place in Switzerland, located in the CIRCLE at Zurich Airport. The hotels together feature 555 rooms and suites, and the Circle Convention Center is directly connected to the Hyatt Regency. The Circle Convention Center offers over 2800 square meters of flexible meeting and event space and can accommodate up to 1500 guests. We are looking for a dynamic Event Planning Coordinator to join our team and help orchestrate the numerous exciting events hosted at our Convention Center.
Please note that fluent German and English skills are needed for this role. Any other language is a plus. If you want to develop your career in the events management side in the hotel industry, then we look forward to receiving your application!
- Proactive sales of both Hyatt Hotels, as well as of events in The Circle Convention Center up to 250 guests, including the handling and conclusion of contracts.
- Creation and maintenance of customer relations, as well as supporting customers on site.
- Carrying out site inspections.
- Planning of details of events and room reservation for up to 250 people, including consultations and detail arrangements, as well as up- and cross-selling.
- Administrative assistance of the Event Sales and Event Planning Team in the planning of events of up to 1500 people.
- Handover of events to the operational departments.
- Creation of deposit invoices, control of final invoices, and completion of general correspondence.
- Use of the various hotel systems, including Envision, Opera and Reserve.
