Embedded System Engineer – FPGA Firmware Developer

Your Responsibilities

  • As part of our experienced development team, you will develop electronic subsystems with a focus on FPGA firmware development.
  • You will independently design custom solutions and optimize existing designs to the point of series production, working closely with our hardware development team.
  • You will take responsibility for planning, implementing, and documenting your software solutions, ensuring their robustness through structured validation and testing.
  • As part of our Product Lifecycle Management, you will ensure that all compatibility criteria are met.
  • You will be in direct technical contact with our customers, providing technical support during system testing and commissioning.

Our Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in FPGA firmware development; knowledge of power electronics is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of FPGA programming (VHDL) and embedded software (C, C++), preferably with knowledge of Python, Git(lab), and Latex.
  • Initiative, independent working style, and ability to work in a team.
  • Good English skills, both spoken and written; German language skills are a plus.
