Electrical System Engineer – Electric Vehicles
About:
Our client is a world-leading manufacturer of vehicles designed for the efficient cleaning of public and private traffic areas. Their vehicles are developed at their site just outside of Zurich and sold all over the world.
To strengthen their electrical development team, they are looking for a committed Electrical System Engineer (m/f/d).
Your Tasks
- Develop software architecture for new control platforms in collaboration with the Robotics team.
- Design electrical systems for electric and diesel vehicles.
- Create electrical diagrams in ECAD.
- Oversee the mechanical integration into vehicles and create cable harness drawings in ECAD.
- Define and monitor measurements and tests in the field of electrical engineering.
- Manage sub-projects internally and with external service providers.
- Act as Key-User for ECAD.
- Evaluate, audit, and interface with wiring harness manufacturers.
- Support customer service, documentation, purchasing, and production teams abroad.
Your Expertise
- Basic training in electrical or mechanical engineering, preferably in automotive engineering.
- Further training in mechatronics / system technology HF / FH and initial experience in this field.
- Knowledge of ECAD (preferably Zuken E3 Series).
- Experience with MCAD (Solidworks) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in German and English.
