DevSecOps Engineer - Network & Security

To reinforce the Synechron Switzerland team, we are looking for a DeSecvOps Engineer with experience in Network & Security, Our mission is for one of our clients, a Private Bank in Geneva.

Your responsibilities:

  • Playing a key role in automating security configurations and implementing secure, user-friendly networking solutions to transform the platforms.
  • Providing support to maintain the existing setup with a strong emphasis on maintaining security and network infrastructure.
  • Working closely with product owners to seamlessly integrate their applications, placing a strong focus on secure networking practices and infrastructure security.
  • Taking charge of implementing and overseeing CI/CD pipelines with a security-first approach to ensure continuous integration and delivery of applications.
  • Monitoring system performance from a security and networking perspective and making improvements to enhance infrastructure efficiencyreliability, and security.

Qualifications

Profile and skills:

  • You justify a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field;
  • You possess minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer;
  • You have a proven experience working in a DevSecOps role with a focus on infrastructure and operations;
  • You have professional experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Ansible;
  • You possess working experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools such as Splunk, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana);
  • You possess working experience with security scanning and vulnerability management tools such as SonarQube;
  • You have an experience with code development practices;
  • You possess knowledge of containers and orchestrators like Docker and Kubernetes;
  • You have strong experience of programming languages such as Java, Python or Go;
  • You can work independently and as part of a team;
  • You speak English and French;
  • You are a Swiss resident.
