We are seeking a Deputy Team Leader Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions for globally distributed SMT production environments. If you're an experienced software engineer with leadership practice and have a passion for modern technologies, we would love to meet you!
Your contribution:
- Collaborate with and help lead a team of software engineers.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define software requirements, specifications, and project timelines for Machine Software and Industry 4.0 environments.
- Lead and enhance projects, particularly focusing on intuitive touchscreen-based Graphical User Interfaces (GUI).
- Plan, prioritize, and oversee the software development lifecycle from concept to release.
- Ensure software architecture is scalable, modular, and future-proof to support growth and product enhancements.
- Participate in quality assurance processes to maintain high code quality, performance and reliability.
Your skills and talents:
- Proficiency in modern software development technologies and methods
(C#, .Net, .Net Core, C++, Visual Studio is a plus). - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
- German and English, both verbal and written.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field (FH/ETH or equivalent).
- 10+ years of experience as a software engineer and project management of software development.
