Database Consultant
We are looking for a few Database Consultants for one IT consulting company based in several major cities Switzerland. In this dynamic job, you will have the chance to further develop your technical skills by independently working on customer projects.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for working on different client projects, using your expertise in Oracle,Postgres or MS SQL.
- You will be working on a big variety of tasks, ranging from deployment, installation, administration, patching, maintenance and configuration of high availability
- In this role, you will be collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to understand the customer’s needs and support them with a range of database and infrastructure solutions
What we are looking for:
- You are an Oracle, Postegres or MS SQL Database expert
- Experience with SQL. Powershell, SQL, PL/SQL or other scripting is required
- You have experience with database operations as well as DevOps
- You are fluent in German or French and have at least B2 level English
- Knowledge of database administration, engineering, installation and customization
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland
- A person who enjoys working independently as well as in a team
- Consulting experience would be considered as an advantage
