V.I.E. Coverage Analyst - Risks - Geneva, Switzerland
Within Société Générale Global Banking and Investment Solutions (GBIS) division, your role will be allocated to the Business Unit GLBA and in the Coverage and Relationship department.
Within the CORI team, the Coverage Analyst will be part of a business and client-driven coverage organization to work closely with Bankers, as well as business lines involved with Swiss Corporates.
· Update and maintenance of the bank’s internal client database for the client of the portfolio, including initiating creation of new entities with KYC
· Reporting and control of revenues (NBI-Net Banking Income) and profitability made by the bank with the clients of the portfolio, including periodical review and correction of data from internal reporting systems, and ad hoc profitability analysis
· Calculation of profitability and equity consumption for all types of financing transactions and for vanilla senior unsecured financing in particular
· Providing Relationship Managers with client data and market intelligence (client organization, geographical presence, market and industry positioning, strategy, latest financial reports, and press review, etc.)
· Working closely and assisting Corporate RMs with building the client’s relationship by promoting the whole of products and services offered by SGCIB and the Group (including IB products, Structured financing, Advisory, Risk management solutions, Capital Market, trade finance, etc.)

Profile requiredPLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply for a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
· Graduate with a Master’s degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance
· A previous experience in finance or in the banking sector would be appreciated
Language skills:
· Fluent in English (B2-C1)
· Fluent in French (B2-C1)
· German would be appreciated (but not mandatory)
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
· Proficient/Good command of MS Office
· Good communication and presentation skills
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Switzerland is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
