Position: Financial Systems Manager

Overview:
Reporting to the European Finance Director , we are looking for a Financial Systems Manager to join a global pharma / medical group . The company has operations across the globe and a market leader in their sector. This position will be a key hire in the European finance team and trusted systems business partner.
Responsibilities Include:
- Support the monthly financial planning and reporting processes
- Act as Key point of contact for all financial systems maintenance, development and master data changes.
- Manage all data maintenance updates, in view of organizational and accounting changes.
- Adjust the Basic reports to reflect the business requirements of finance key stakeholders. implemnet financial systems projects to successful completion
- Taking ownership of Program/project planning, project progress & issue reporting
- Lead the implementation of Global Management Information systems
- Create and execute change plans, training plans and change implementation issue resolution to deliver the change and embedding new capabilities and processes (ways of working) into the operations.
- optimize financial processes.
- Liaise with Finance Corporate staff to ensure co-ordination of overall activities
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level in a Finance or a Business related subject
- At least 4-5 years financial systems experience
- Solid experience in leading financial systems projects in multinational corporations – Pharma or similar preferred
- Knowledge of budgeting, reporting and analysis
- Self-Starter with a strong ethic over producing high quality / accurate work
- Experience working with with PMP/Prince 2 methodolgy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with diverse people across different functions/cultures
- Expert IT skills – MS Office, SAP and BI
