When starting at EY TCF, you will encounter a wide range of experience during your first years. You will be staffed across sectors and experiencing different domains (type of projects and deliverables like Due Diligence, Valuations or M&A Lead Advisory). This sets a broad foundation of knowledge and allows you to become a well-rounded transaction advisor with both technical excellence and deep sector understanding as your career progresses. In order to reinforce our growing TCF team in Zurich and Geneva, we are currently looking for Consultants.
Skills and attributes for success
• Completed university degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or in a STEM field, and ideally a completed Chartered Accountant qualification (Swiss CPA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) or CFA charter;
• A strong interest for transactions, ideally demonstrated through previous work experience (i.e. 1 to 3 years) in the Transaction/Corporate Finance department of a bank, a Private Equity fund, a consulting firm, or a Big4;
• Experience of working with international clients including working with multiple accounting standards including IFRS, US GAAP and other local standards;
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English AND German (Zurich office) or English AND French (Geneva office), both verbally and in writing, are a must. Additional knowledge of Italian is welcomed;
• Knowledge of analytical tools such as Alteryx, PowerBI as well as a high level of Microsoft office skills (Excel and Powerpoint) ;
• Sharp analytical thinking, exceptional problem-solving skills, common sense and a sense of humor;
• Exceptional team player who is able to work with people at all levels in an organization.
