Your mission
For the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 (ESC), we are looking for a City & Events Manager from September 2024 to the end of May 2025. In this role, you will be responsible for all ESC side events organised by and with the host city (reference group meetings, delegation management meetings, semi-final draw, Turquoise Carpet and opening ceremony, Eurovision Village and Euroclub). As part of the ESC Event team, your tasks will be the following:
- Establish contact with the host city and maintain regular dialogue;
- Organise regular meetings, oversee the organisation of all ESC side events and ensure the flow of information to the Head of Event ESC and the Executive Producers;
- Liaise between the host city and the delegations and, together with the Delegation Manager, ensure the success of the Eurovision Village events;
- Coordinate all logistical aspects of the ESC side events, such as transporting delegations to the Turquoise Carpet or the opening ceremony and coordinating the social programme, in collaboration with the host city and the Delegation Manager.
Your profile
- You have a good knowledge of the ESC and other international events
- You have experience in working with city administrations
- You have experience in event management and ideally in the organisation of big international events
- You have good organisational and communication skills
- You are a multi-tasker and are able to handle stressful situations in a calm and composed manner
