The global Business Development Team Polymer Solutions is looking for a talented new team member.

Your Contribution
  • You drive growth for-high-value solutions in our business segment Drug Delivery Systems by identifying and acquiring new costumers and supporting and developing new projects at existing customers.

  • You are responsible for the achievement of segment specific commercial and strategic goals within your area of responsibility.

  • You secure long-term relationships with our customers at various levels and functions, play a vital role in recognizing their needs and requirements and provide value-added, technical expertise.

  • You develop in-depth market intelligence for your own area of responsibility and use this knowledge to devise and execute lead generation projects.

  • You participate in appropriate tradeshows and seminars to enhance SCHOTT branding and build a strong network in the pharmaceutical industry.

Your Profile
  • You have a Bachelor´s or Master´s Degree in Science (Bioscience, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Physics), Engineering or Business Administration.

  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience in Business Development (technical or sales-related) within an international B2B organization. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is beneficial.

  • You are a proactive team player with strong communication skills and maintain a structured working methodology also in a fast-paced environment.

  • You are persistent in achieving your goals and pair commercial skills with a strong technical mindset.

  • You enjoy working in a truly global team with internal and external stakeholders across multiple different functions.

  • You are fluent in English and German.

  • Willingness to travel up to 40%.
