We are looking for a Back Office Specialist to our Trade Support team. The role supports Gunvor Group daily trading activities and thus previous experience in finance/accounting is essential.
Main main tasks a:
Daily verification of trading activity (reconciliation of data in the Trading system(s) against external data sources);
OTC confirmations’ administration;
Regulatory reporting (EMIR);
Margining (ISDA);
Preparing monthly reports for own field;
Ensuring internal mappings are up-do-date;
Commodity positions and P&L reconciliations;
Invoicing & Settlements;
Handling ad-hoc requests from key stakeholders;
Close cooperation with other departments (Risk, Clearing, Credit, Legal, Compliance etc).
We are looking for someone with following skills:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in Back Office (banking, commodity trading or similar), Audit or Accounting;
Bachelor in accounting, finance or similar;
Analytical and detail-oriented mindset;
Ability to work under stress and prioritize tasks within tight deadlines;
Good at multi-tasking while being able to focus on important items;
Microsoft Office advanced user (especially Excel);
Good communication skills in both written and spoken English;
Knowledge and/or experience in financial markets is beneficial;
Team player and able to work independently;
Hard-working, accurate, quick.
