Automation Engineer
Your Tasks:
- Design and maintain automation software capabilities, particularly our library of standardized automation functions (master recipe phases)
- Advanced system support for PCS7 stack including WinCC and Simatic Batch, including support of recipe designers and establishing best practices
- Supporting engineering and MSAT teams during commissioning and startup of automation-centric production facilities
- Supporting testing and simulation capabilities, including SIMIT-based equipment simulation
- Configuration and change management, software validation activities
- Support the process of MSR and P&ID preparation.
- Participate in risk assessments for process validation, suggest and implement learnings
- Requirements gathering, consolidation of requirements, and implementation activities for automation projects
Your Profile:
- Degree in automation engineering, process engineering, pharmaceutical technology, or equivalent experience within automation
- Training or experience with process control systems (ideally Siemens PCS7, Simatic batch, SCADA) and related auxiliary software (e.g. SIMIT)
- MES Experience
- Ability to understand process requirements for automation solutions and translate them to technical specifications
- Ability to understand and follow ISA88 and Pharma Standard
