Associate Category Manager (m/f)
The specified area of responsibility includes:
- Supporting the development and implementation of category strategies
- Analyzing market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborating with suppliers to optimize the product portfolio and procurement
- Conducting competitive analysis and performance reviews
- Monitoring and analyzing sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies
- Developing recommendations to improve product placement and promotion
- Participating in supplier negotiations and supporting the purchasing team
- Working with marketing, sales, and logistics to ensure smooth operations
We are looking for the following profile:
- Completed studies in business administration, marketing, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in category management, purchasing, or sales, ideally in retail or consumer goods
- Strong analytical skills and experience with large data sets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and results-oriented in a fast-paced environment
- Team player mentality and the ability to collaborate successfully with various internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; knowledge of analysis tools is an advantage
- Native English speaker
