Are you ready for an exciting challenge in the heart of Zurich? Our client, a leading player in the banking industry, is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and skilled Application Support Engineer to join their dynamic Securities Lending and Borrowing team!
What You'll Do:
- Be the Go-To Expert: You'll become the expert for their Securities Lending and Borrowing systems, ensuring everything
runs smoothly.
- Keep Things Running: Take charge of system availability, tackle any issues that arise, and oversee the release of new
updates.
- Support and Investigate: Help their business colleagues with daily tasks, dive into investigations when problems come up,
and offer insights for improvements.
- Innovate and Improve: Suggest recommendations to enhance their systems and processes to make everything work better.
- Join the Agile Movement: Participate in their agile practices, including daily routines and team ceremonies.
- Act as a Bridge: Work closely with both their Central IT department and external vendors to ensure seamless operations.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience with FIS Platforms: You need 3-5 years of hands-on experience with FIS Securities Finance Trading and
Collateral Platform (formerly Apex Collateral Management / Finace). Experience in the Securities Lending and Borrowing
domain is also acceptable if no hands-on experience with FIS.
- Tech Skills: Basic skills in Databases & SQL, Unix & Scripting, and Java are a must.
- DevOps Knowledge: Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD is valuable.
- Agile Basics: Understanding of Agile/SAFe methodologies is a must.
