Analytics Engineer - Customer Operations (f/m/d)
Your responsibilities
- You plan, create, and orchestrate efficient ETL data flows to generate clean data objects from raw data with coordinated business logic, which can then be used for analyses and reports.
- You advise our Customer Operation Teams (After Sales, Customer Service, Retail) in their data-matters, ensure requirements are gathered based on the business problem, and develop efficient and sustainable data solutions with them – whether through analyses or a new report.
- Using Tableau, SSRS, and Cubes, you build reports and are responsible for their maintenance and adaptation so that they always serve as a basis for monitoring, further development of the business, and process optimization.
- You communicate with the feature teams (software development) and coordinate with them regarding data requirements and status.
- Together with your team, you are responsible for developing ambitious and innovative ideas and solutions in the BI area to best support business partners in their decision-making.
Your skills
- You have a higher education degree in a technical or data-focused field (ETH/UNI/FH) or sufficient relevant work experience.
- You bring at least 4 years of practical experience in a similar role and excellent SQL and Python skills (highly advantageous: BigQuery).
- Preparing, analyzing, and vizualizing data is one of your strengths – ideally, you have experience with Tableau and Cubes (SSAS, MDX).
- You have experience with sustainable data modeling and complex data pipeline design – ideally, you have worked with a data orchestration tool like dataform or dbt.
- You have an affinity for processes and KPIs in the area of Customer Operations and enjoy visiting colleagues on-site in Customer Service and Returns department to see how your reporting helps manage the daily business.
- Good German skills (at least B2) and good English skills are mandatory.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Prioritizing empathy and compassion in decision-making.
