Accounting Specialist
This role is fully operational and responsible for the smooth running of our accounting. We are looking for an experienced accountant with a team-oriented, accurate and efficient work ethic. SAP experience is a mandatory requirement.

This is what you can move
- Responsibility for Medela AG and Medela Switzerland account receivables topics including posting of journal entries, bad debt calculation, credit limit calculation, analysis, etc
- Responsibility for credit limits calculation and discussion with sales team, communication with key customers on cash collection, credit limits releases and maintenance. Cooperation with sales team on credit notes analysis and posting
- Preparation of the VAT CHE declarations for all Medela Swiss entities
- Running of dunning process, sending letters and main contact for Debt company
- Main contact and support for our Customer Service Team and for external customers
- Responsibility for Inter Company (“I/C”) reconciliation, confirmation and analysis including follow ups on differences and solving them before each month end;
- Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance;
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly and year-end financial closings.
What you bring along
- Further education or studies in Accounting
- At least five years of professional experience in the area of accounts receivables, Inter Company reconciliations and/or other accounting roles
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, SAP, generally high IT affinity
- English and German language spoken and written
