With the development of our Trademark Department located in Geneva, we are looking for the 1st of August or later

Your function

• Managing filings, prosecution, maintenance and post-registration matters for trademarks and designs, preparing all related documentation and completing all related administrative formalities such as legalization of documents.
• Following-up internal and external due dates.
• Managing IP database records, requiring prompt and accurate data entry and rigorous deadline management.
• Corresponding with clients, foreign agents and Patent & Trademark Offices or Administrations.
• Issuing invoices, following up payments and sending reminders.
• Following and communicating changes in laws and procedures affecting our clients’ IP portfolio.
• Conducting trademark clearance searches on-line.
• Providing support on infringement, opposition and cancellation cases.

Your profile

• Business diploma (CFC or equivalent); legal background as well as translation skills are a plus.
• Min. 2-5 years’ experience as Trademark Paralegal.
• Fluency in English; French/German/Ukrainian/Italian is a strong asset.
• Strong organizational skills, high level of precision, rigor and attention to detail.
• Great capacity for planning and priority management.
• Responsiveness, motivation, commitment & interest in IP, active participation and team spirit.
• Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other IT tools. Prior experience with Patricia IP management software is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• At ease with handling large portfolios in multiple jurisdictions.
