We are based in Bedano (near Lugano), and we are looking for an experienced JAVA developer with multi-year experience to work full-time in a passionate DevOps team to design, develop and maintain software based on Kubernetes.
In this role, you will write functional codes with a sharp eye for spotting defects, you are also passionate about distributed Java solutions, K8s and software design/architecture and you should be a team player and excellent communicator. Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements analysis
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to produce software design and architecture
- Write clean, scalable code using Java programming language
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code, improvement of existent software
- Develop documentation throughout the secure software development life cycle (SSDLC)
- Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
Requirements and technical skills
- Proven experience in deployment and cofiguration of Java EE/JBoss AS/Spring Boot Applications, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Flyway/Liquibase
- CI/CD tools (Jira, Git, Github-Acitons, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, Maven, NuGet, Ansible/Salt/Bash scripting)
- Experience with Grafana/Prometheus
- SQL Know-how, be able to review and extend SQL scripts
- Proven multi-year experience in Java development
- Good communication skills in English/Italian, knowledge of German is a plus

Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Java development
