Our team in the Business Line Pharmaceutical Industry helps suppliers, customers, and pharmaceutical companies to find suitable active ingredients, excipients, and intermediates for the pharmaceutical industry. In this diverse role, you are the interface between international manufacturers, the chemical and pharmaceutical industry.
General Responsibilities
- As a Sales Manager Pharmaceutical Industry, you are responsible for the operational sales and business development of our distribution business for raw materials in the area of biopharmaceutical industry in Switzerland, Austria and Germany (DACH region)
- A focus of this position is operational sales and the expansion of business relationships with new and current customers, based on technical support combined with regular customer visits (up to 50% traveling)
- Collaboration with peers, management, product management, and application scientists
- Participation in international trade fairs, congresses and technical training courses
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- BSc/MSc or professional degree in pharmaceutical, chemical or related life science field
- Knowledgeable in the fields of regulatory requirements for the pharmaceutical industry (ISO, GMP, etc.)
- At least 4 years of sales or account management experience in healthcare, biopharma, pharma or related business
- Fluent in German and English; any other language is a plus
- Ability to work independently and autonomously in a multicultural environment
- Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and communicative personality
