HRIS / Workday Specialist

Job Description

  • Overall technical ownership for the ongoing design, deployment and maintenance of the HR Applications (Workday, Beqom, ZEP) and interfaces from and to surrounding applications;

  • Serve as a strong technical partner to Head HR Operations / Business Application Owner to continuously improve service delivery;

  • Drive the deployment of feature releases and system maintenance, ensuring business requirements are met;

  • Evaluate feasibility of system modifications and enhancements;

  • Coordinate Workday external support team ensuring day-to-day systems support is balanced with strategic enhancements and projects;

  • Technical accountability for data governance, security and compliance;

  • Maintain master data values in Workday (ex: Job Profile, Job Family, Job Group, Roles, Custom Organization Types, Positions, Locations);

  • Deliver meaningful metrics, trends and analytical insights via Workday reporting and dashboard;

  • Testing of integrations, security, annual events;

  • Buildup and maintain IT documentation for all HR applications.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent in Human Resources and/or Information Technology;

  • In-depth knowledge and several years of experience in supporting, customizing and developing HR applications with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Workday;

  • Hands-on experience in process automation and system integration;

  • Self-motivated, proactive personality taking ownership and showing initiative;

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (German and English) to interact with HR clients, cross-functional colleagues and IT;

  • Experience in the financial industry and/or in HR is an advantage;

  • Team-player with strong interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity and discretion;

  • Focus on high-quality delivery and customer orientation.
