Your challenges
- Support the Site Transportation Manager/Team Leader in daily operations.
- Coordinate and perform product shipping, pick-up times, and carrier arrangements to meet required shipping dates.
- Liaise with Quality Control, Customer Care Front Office, Planning, etc., to ensure shipments occur as scheduled.
- Monitor data entry of shipment information into the SAP shipping module and initiate billing upon delivery confirmation.
- Support the accuracy of shipment data to facilitate efficient E2E process execution and reporting.
- Responsible for issuing and collecting all necessary Transport/Export documents (including sending them to customers and external parties).
- Ensure compliance of all documentation with transport regulations.
- Maintain records/archives of import and export shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Customs/TA: Ensure compliance with export regulations, manage inspections by certification firms, and work with TA and customs brokers to ensure timely completion of all required customs clearance procedures and documentation.
- Participate in projects, including GBS initiatives.
- Stay informed about changes in local import/export regulations.
- Coordinate the release of transport invoices, identify payment discrepancies, and prevent invoicing errors.
- Manage transport complaints in collaboration with GBS, implementing corrective actions promptly if on site.
- Assist with internal and/or external audits and assessments related to transport.
- Follow or support all customer-specific requirements provided by Customer Care.
- Work closely with the GBS Road Transportation Hub and 4PL to anticipate any disruptions in activity or shipments (e.g., site closures, predictable spikes, etc.).
- Ensure optimized transport and distribution flows on site.
- Support inbound documentation processes, including customs procedures.
- Handle outbound documentation.
Your skills
- Diploma : Commercial education (e.g., Industrial clerk or equivalent)
- Experience : 2 to 4 years in logistics within a manufacturing environment, with a preference for experience in shipping operations and customer care
- Language Skills : Proficiency in English and fluency in French are essential
- Technical Proficiency : Skilled in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of the transportation supplier landscape
- Regulatory Knowledge : Good knowledge of local and international material/product safety and security norms and regulations
- Supply Chain Knowledge : Understanding of supply chain dependencies and processes
- Customs Procedures : Familiarity with Customs/TA procedures
- Production Insight : Basic understanding of production processes
- Skills : Strong analytical and negotiation abilities
