Overview
Our client is a fast growing international high-tech engineering group supporting life-science industry organisations across the globe. They are an established market leader in their field being recognised for high quality standards in developing and selling customised machinery used in chemical and pharma manufacturing. In order to expand their global team at the HQ in Switzerland they are looking for:
Life Cycle Projects Coordinators – pharma process engineering
Key responsibilities
- Managing series of international life cycle projects for life science machinery development
- Perform associated cost calculations, resource allocations initial planning along with feasibility checks at pharma and chemical clients sites
- Technical assistance of the pharma clients working in the meantime in strong collaboration with in-house R&D, Design Engineers and QA
- Drafting and maintenance of the sales documents and spreadsheets
- Contracts negotiations as well as reviewing, further qualification, handover and order confirmations
- Monthly review of projects’ progress at clients sites and management of implementation phases
- Drive continuous improvement and optimization of project assigned
- Anticipate and identify key project issues and establish objectives in solving them proactively
- Test and install new equipment for manufacturing; support equipment through validation, start-up, and process improvement, occasionally troubleshooting
- Occasional worldwide traveling depending on the allocated region
Desired Skills and Experience
- Technical background, Degree in Engineering, pharma/ chemical manufacturing processes or similar
- At least 2 years experience in life cycle projects, GMP environment such as: engineering design, process control etc.
- You have a good understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and pharma process engineering
- Previous experience in construction of pharma plants or technical sales of pharma equipment (powder handling, containment, blow/fill/seal and packaging lines)
- Additionally GMP automation or commissioning would be highly appreciated
- Business orientation and attention to details are essential
- Excellent communication skills: fluency in English – mandatory while German is a plus
