About Us
Do you thrive on delivering outstanding service and crafting memorable experiences for guests? Penny Farthing GmbH is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The Penny, a welcoming British pub in the heart of Aarau, offers a carefully curated selection of British and Irish drinks, single malt whiskies, classic wines, bespoke Penny cocktails, and globally inspired cuisine. Recently relaunched as a gastropub, we now feature three weekly lunch menus and an evening à la carte selection. We have both day and evening shifts available.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Engage with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks
- Anticipate customers' preferences and make personalized recommendations
- Maintain a fully stocked bar, ensuring supplies and inventory are readily available
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender
- In-depth knowledge of pub culture
- Positive attitude with excellent communication skills - German & English
- Strong organisational skills to keep the bar clean and well-stocked
- Relevant training or certification is a plus
