In addition to the Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) Private Banking role profile, the Account Manager Private Banking (AM PB) takes ownership of the account administration, documentation formalities and tasks in daily operations and projects impacting the account administration. In contrast to the Relationship Manager (RM), the AM PB does not have an own client book. The AM PB reaches out to clients where appropriate in close collaboration with the RM. He/she demonstrates excellent professional, personal as well as social skills when liaising with clients and the RM. The AM PB ensures the operational client account management and interacts with internal as well as external stakeholders independently, provides clients with relevant in- formation and supports the RM in implementing customized solutions. Furthermore, the AM PB acts as role model in bringing the best service quality to clients, RMs and Team Heads (THs) in a fast, professional and friendly manner, always living the Julius Baer values (Care, Passion, and Excellence) and thus, helping the team to manage and grow its current client base. He/she channels client feedback to the relevant individuals and departments within the Bank to foster continuous improvement and fast adaptation of processes. The AM PB shows professional commitment to ensuring excellent administration of the account, to clients as well as to the Bank and is willing to go the extra mile.

• Supports the Relationship Managers (RM) in managing, monitoring and reviewing of client investment portfolios

• Collaborates with internal experts from Markets, Investment Solutions and Wealth Planning to identify investment and service opportunities

• Communicates with clients and prospects directly in collaboration with the RM and guarantees desk coverage while the RM is on business trip

• Ensures that accurate and high-quality client relationship documentation formalities are met and maintained to a high standard at all times including client identification documentation (CDB), account opening forms and other relevant legal forms

• Actively helps managing risk (support first line of defense), i.e. in client documentation, by raising concerns, following up on issues independently and by escalating when in doubt

• Interacts with clients in an independent and professional manner in all aspects of account management

• Maintain and update records of client instructions, client details and preferences

• Provide clients and Relationship Manager with information and data in verbal and/or written form as needed/requested

• Creates and provides clients with customized information, reports and statistics, etc.

• Liaise with other RM-Teams, Compliance, Risk Management, IC-Sales, Treasury & Trading, Operations & IT

• Always ensure adherence to compliance, legal guidelines, internal rules, regulations & policies etc.

• Bachelor in Finance and Banking or experience in the banking environment with job-related higher degree (e.g. Bachelor, CFA, AZEK or similar)

• At least 2 years of working experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager in the Private Banking or in Advisory or Trading in a Bank

• Proven track record in servicing banking clients with complex needs (on boarding of new clients, maintaining and extending current relationships)

• Solid financial knowledge

• Several years of experience in Compliance topics and is aware of current regulations and KYC related needs

• Operate proficiently Microsoft Office for working on regular presentation preparations, spreadsheets

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Fluency in English (oral and written), German would be an asset

• Service oriented, discreet and responsible

• Friendly, open personality, well-presented and professional appearance

• Able to work independently, well organized, swift and accurate even when under pressure
