Your Impact
- As part of our Deal Analytics team, you are using a broad range of state-of-the-art tools and techniques to generate insights from large data sets, helping clients make more informed M&A decisions.
- Working on financial and commercial due diligence projects on the buy- and sell-side, leveraging company, alternative and market data to analyze a target's competitive positioning and performance.
- Processing (e.g. extract, transform, and load), analyze, and visualize complex data sets to design and develop business intelligence (BI) tools that enable clients to monitor KPIs and identify value creation opportunities during integration and post-close.
- Lead and actively participating in client meetings and preparing written reports, using effective story-telling and summarizing findings in a concise, articulate manner.
- Help upskill our broader Deals team's digital capabilities and assist in developing tools to drive automation and efficiencies across our practice, leveraging (Gen)AI and other tools.

Your Skill Set
- Degree in business administration, management, business analytics, data science, economics, statistics, finance or accounting, with a strong interest in solving quantitative and analytical challenges.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in high performing teams, preferably in data analytics, M&A, consulting, Big 4 and / or private equity. You have worked in a dynamic, collaborative environment under time sensitive deadlines.
- Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, due diligence, financial modelling and business performance/value drivers, across different industries.
- Experience in leveraging data and business intelligence software to turn data into actionable insights on company and market performance.
- Demonstrated track record of data extraction / transformation, analytics, and visualization approaches as well as a high degree of data fluency. Experience working with relational databases / data models.
- Proven skills in Alteryx, PowerBI, Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge and experience with basic programming is preferred but not required (e.g. Python, R, etc.)
- Effective communication in fluent English; fluency in German and any other languages is a plus.
