Die Abteilung «Engineering und Systeme» im Bereich des Vizepräsidiums Infrastruktur ist das Engineering-Zentrum der ETH Zürich für Gebäudeautomation, Gebäudetechnik- und Laborsysteme sowie für Campusnachhaltigkeit und -digitalisierung.
Spitzenforschung braucht Spitzeninfrastruktur
Der Klimawandel stellt die gesamte Welt vor anspruchsvolle Herausforderungen. Unsere Forschung arbeitet seit Jahren an möglichen Lösungsansätzen, Spin-Offs wagen nach Erfolgen im Labor den Schritt in die freie Wirtschaft. Als Schritt dazwischen sollen die eigenen Anlagen dienen, um zum einen die Technologien weiter markttauglich zu machen und zum anderen unsere eigene Infrastruktur näher an das Ziel einer grünen Energieversorgung zu bringen.
Dabei wird die Versorgungssicherheit an vorderster Stelle bleiben, doch mit dir und dem gesamten Team finden wir Möglichkeiten, wie wir dies im Einklang mit neuen und innovativen Lösungsansätzen erreichen.
Dein Beruf mit Wirkung
Du leitest ein Team aus fünf interdisziplinären Spezialist:innen, führst sie personell und unterstützt sie in der Ausübung ihrer Tätigkeiten. In der facettenreichen Funktion als Teilprojektleiter:in erarbeitest Du Konzepte für die Erreichung der Programmziele «ETH Netto-??Null» im Bereich Scope 1 Emissionen. Als Brückenbauer:in förderst du die Kommunikation und den Wissenstransfer zwischen der Forschung und der Infrastruktur und leitest sowie koordinierst Pilotprojekte an der Schnittstelle zwischen der Forschung der eigenen Infrastruktur wie z.B. Carbon-Capturing Anlagen und Living Lab.
Mit deinem Wissen und Engagement gestaltest du die energetische Zukunft der Hochschule mit und leistest dadurch einen wesentlichen Beitrag zum sicheren sowie nachhaltigen Energieversorgung der Institution. Du pflegst die Schnittstellen des Fachgebiets zum restlichen Vizepräsidium für Infrastruktur sicher, baust aktiv ein Netzwerk mit den relevanten Stakeholdern innerhalb und ausserhalb der ETH Zürich auf und stehst Auftragnehmenden rund um die Themen der Implementierung in die ETH-eigene Infrastruktur beratend zur Seite.
Als Wissensträger:in und um stets auf dem neusten Kenntnisstand zu sein, nimmst du an Schulungen sowie Aus- und Weiterbildungen teil, informierst dich über Trends, Neuigkeiten und Innovationen, welche für deinen Tätigkeitsbereich von Bedeutung sind. Nicht zuletzt repräsentierst du die ETH Zürich in diversen Fachgremien und Kommissionen auf verschiedenen Ebenen - u.a. auf Bundesebene, in der Initiative «Vorbild Energie und Klima».

Neben einem abgeschlossenen Hochschul- oder Fachhochschulstudium im Bereich Maschinenbau, Gebäudetechnik, Chemie, Physik oder verwandten Fachrichtungen zeichnest du dich durch folgende Fähigkeiten aus:
- Führungserfahrung
- Expertise in der Planung und Durchführung von komplexen Projekten bspw. Anlagenbauprojekten
- Erfahrung mit thermischen und/oder elektrischen Prozessen
- Starke Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch und Englisch
- Kenntnisse über die Energiebranche in der Schweiz
