We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Marketing Manager to join our team at AXA XL.
Our Marketing function supports AXA XL’s business goals by driving a high level of external market visibility for our people, products, expertise, services, innovation and thought leadership, especially among the clients, brokers and industries we serve. We build and promote AXA XL’s commercial insurance business by proactively shaping and executing integrated communication and marketing plans that are closely aligned with the company strategy and growth ambitions. We execute our marketing plans across different channels and leverage a variety of digital tools.
As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will work directly with Americas senior business leaders, developing and implementing marketing plans that support business goals. You will serve as a strategic advisor and key partner in the marketing strategy and execution for two large growth areas within our organization – Mid-Market and Wholesale Solutions. This role will be pivotal in driving our marketing efforts forward and accelerating the growth in these business segments.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in industry events and conference planning, marketing campaigns, outstanding digital marketing experience, thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at juggling multiple projects, and have a proven track record of leading projects to achieve strategic growth aligned with business plans. You will also work closely with members of the Global communications, brand and digital teams, as well as with internal and outsourced resources.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
· Partner with underwriting and distribution leaders to develop Business Unit/product line specific marketing plans to support business goals + sales pipeline (e.g., retention, growth, and new business), while building AXA XL’s brand and positioning amongst target groups.
· Develop innovative integrated campaigns to launch or promote different products using the full mix of marketing tools and channels, such as email campaigns, paid social, collateral material, display advertising, and web content to name a few.
· Plan and oversee market events such as regional broker/client councils & industry conferences to drive engagement with key stakeholders, support growth goals, and promote brand visibility.
· Support sales and relationship-building activities of underwriting & distribution teams with relevant marketing communications, sponsorship & digital support activities.
· Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously – from the ‘big picture vision’ to the ‘detailed tactics;’ Prioritize critical deliverables and ensure timely and successful delivery.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams – including communications, brand, digital and operations to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
· Proactively track results/KPI’s/metrics to demonstrate success of external events, campaigns and continually look to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
· Write/edit marketing copy to produce engaging content, presentations, email campaigns, collateral material and/or web content.
· Effectively represent the Marketing function as a strategic partner at internal business meetings and external industry events.
You will report to the Marketing Regional Director, Americas.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
· Extensive experience in progressive marketing roles; Insurance or financial services industry preferred.
· Proven ability to plan, collaborate and execute across marketing disciplines including digital and content marketing, industry conferences/events and sponsorships, as well as supporting targeted advertising and paid social media.
· Outstanding strategic thinking and the ability to translate business objectives into effective marketing plans.
· Outstanding organizational skills and proven ability to manage time-critical projects (planning, scheduling, monitoring), working with internal and external resources.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with leaders at all levels – and proactively manage stakeholder expectations.
· Proficiency in data analysis and marketing performance metrics.
· Preferred experience in marketing automation systems such as Eloqua, Cvent, webinars/On24, Salesforce and all Microsoft Suite
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

The U.S. pay range for this position is $144,500 - $216,500. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual’s skills, experience, and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues’ pay.
