Senior Software Engineer (m/w)
Your tasks:
Collaborate with and help lead a team of software engineers
Work closely with cross-functional teams to define software requirements, specifications, and project timelines for Pick and Place and Dispenser, as well as Management Software and Industry 4.0 environments.
Take ownership of and develop new market-differentiating features for touch screen-based GUI for intuitive utilization.
Plan, prioritize, and oversee the software development lifecycle from concept to release.
Ensure software architecture is scalable, modular, and maintainable, deploying automated testing were useful.
Participate in quality assurance processes to maintain high code quality, performance, and reliability.
Support the continuous learning and professional development of the software team.
Your profile:
Proficiency in modern software development technologies and methods (C#, .Net, .Net Core, C++, Visual Studio is a plus).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
German and English, both verbal and written.
Bachelor’s degree in Software/ Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (FH/ETH or equivalent).
10+ years of experience as a software engineer and project management of software development.
Familiarity with automation and gantry systems or related industries in SMT/Semicon is a plus.
Background in hands-on software development.
