What you do:
- Perform advanced structural analysis on composite structural and non-structural components for new development projects
- Take autonomous leadership of minor to major composite-related sub-projects regarding structural engineering tasks
- Prepare documentation to support design reviews, tests, technical meetings and sizing processes
- Prepare concepts and risk assessments for new composite built concepts from a structural standpoint
- Develop test concepts and plan their execution for composite components and assemblies, including related test requests and test data analysis
What you bring:
- University degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of structural analysis and a minimum of 5 years proven experience in structural analysis (using NASTRAN, FEMAP; ABAQUS is a plus) on composite aircraft structures
- Proven experience in deploying classical hand-calculation and stress analysis methods and utilizing Aerospace industry standard reference sources
- Fluent in English verbal and written, German verbal language skills count as an asset
- Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under challenging timescales in a dynamic and responsive environment
- Ability to work and maintain focus on a wide range of tasks simultaneously
