On behalf of our client, a growing company based in Neuchâtel, we are currently looking for a
Process Improvement Specialist
Position Summary
The Process Improvement Specialist will provide experienced, knowledgeable coordination of process improvement activities with a goal toward simplified, streamlined business processes and continuous improvement
Duties/Responsibilities
- Represents the organization as a technical expert for projects and initiatives
- Designs complex technical projects, interprets diverse data and/or results, and independently recommends next steps
- Leverages Operational Excellence, Lean, and Quality Risk Management principles to facilitate risk-based decision-making, drive continuous improvement, and eliminate waste across the enterprise
- Works independently to recommend novel solutions and makes decisions that solve complex problems. Solutions improve the ability of a team to deliver on its objectives and meet the needs of stakeholders
- Supports implementation of enterprise projects in the department
- Collaborating with others in the department, identifies impact to the department, develops an action plan and acts as a project manager to ensure that relevant tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Acts as a change agent for enterprise initiatives that impact the department and department initiatives or projects that impact other stakeholders
- Demonstrates cultural values and influences others to apply business values of trust, accountability, and inclusion
- Manages multiple departmental projects or programs, as appropriate. Facilitates teamwork and coordinates execution of plans with key stakeholders
Reporting Relationship
This role will report to Associate Director, Analytical Systems and Services
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, or closely related discipline. Master's Degree a plus
Experience/Knowledge
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Analytical Science, and/or Microbiology in a GMP manufacturing environment
- Requires advanced knowledge of GMP and Compliance applicable to Quality Control
- Project Management certification preferred
- Must have thorough knowledge of Lean principles and Operation Excellence principles and experience leading OpEx projects
Skills/Competencies:
- Strong ability to communicate across levels and adapt communications to the audience
- Highly proficient in technical writing and technical presentations
- Strong ability to think strategically, and to translate strategy into action
- Strong ability to prioritize and provide clear direction to team members in a highly dynamic environment
