Senior Procurement Officer
Mission
- We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Procurement Officer to join our Logistics team. Your primary responsibility will be to secure strategically important and profitable frame agreements for the Bank, ensuring favourable growth profit and overall terms. As a key member of the team, you will assume ownership of the purchase order process, establish relationships with supply vendors, and collaborate with various departments and group entities on procurement matters.
Responsibility
Implementation Phase:
- Actively participate in the implementation of the ERP system
- Draft technical specifications and coordinate with the ERP supplier
- Participate in user tests and create a comprehensive user guide
- Collect existing contracts from different departments
Daily Operations:
- Lead and drive negotiations related to frame agreements, ensuring productive meetings with dynamic discussions, and clear action items for all the stakeholders
- Develop templates, process documents, and administrative processes related to tenders, presentations, and group guidelines to establish best practices
- Assess and document commercial project risks
- Communicate effectively with internal and external interfaces regarding commercial aspects while proactively overcoming challenges
- Provide support to departments in the preparation of purchase requests (RFP)
- Create and manage vendor profiles and contract-related data in the ERP system
- Enter purchase orders into the ERP system and support departments in contract execution
- Collect approval and support documents to ensure compliance with internal and external rules
- Review vendors selected by departments, ensuring compliance with established bidding processes
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, legal, or a combination of work experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial sector within purchasing or strategic contract positions
- Experience in negotiating with external clients and reviewing contract agreement texts
- Excellent written and spoken English and French skills. Italian considered an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Skilled at prioritising and managing multiple projects, taking initiative, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data management
- Thorough understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management
