Specialist, Operational Efficiency (M/F)
Our client:
An international NGO based in Geneva.
- Review and prioritize GMD business needs in collaboration with IT, Program Finance, and business owners, contributing to organizational prioritization based on resource needs and benefits
- Ensure the development of high-quality detailed business requirements as per agreed timelines, ensuring alignment with the grant lifecycle design
- Coordinate the development of grant management operational processes, policies, and procedures across divisions and departments, ensuring quality deliverables aligned with the Operational Efficiency approach
- Lead the diagnosis of business processes as input into proposed changes for Operational Launches, integrating feedback from various stakeholders and conducting quantitative analysis of process effectiveness
- Define and lead projects to address identified data quality issues related to GMD-owned data, ensuring data consistency and resolving discrepancies in collaboration with IT and DASH
- Design and oversee the implementation of user acceptance testing plans prior to system delivery, ensuring that critical business scenarios are efficiently tested.
- Chair cross-functional meetings to ensure engagement and alignment among functions affected by specific process changes, acting as the main business counterpart for internal IT teams.
- Provide subject matter expertise and best practices for business integration, contributing to reports, briefings, and solution demonstrations for internal stakeholders and senior management
- Advanced university degree in areas such as Operations, Finance, Public or Business Administration, Information Management, Public Health or other relevant field
- Project/program management experience
- Experience and understanding of grant design and management requirements and processes
- Experience with functional design of IT solutions for business end-users
- Demonstrated experience in establishing and managing productive partnerships and ability to facilitate and strengthen the involvement of a range of internal & external stakeholders through strong interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy
- Experience in process improvement and using optimization methodologies applied in a business environment
- Minimum 5 years project/program management experience
- Knowledge of Salesforce Platform
- An excellent knowledge of English and preferably a good working knowledge of French. Knowledge of other languages would be an asset
